Family Of The Accused/Convicted, Inc.

Testimonials

With me being a 3rd time offender I truly needed a new beginning, and to be a part of something to help me be a better role model and a better father to my family. Well I found that love and support with Ms. Moore and F.O.T.A.C. Since taking place with F.O.T.A.C. I've been able to get in touch with my spiritual side, with Jesus, and I have been able to become a part of the body of Christ. I truly appreciate the love and caring that F.O.T.A.C. has shown for me and my family by taking us in and I truly look forward to showing my appreciation once I'm released this year. With love and respect, a proud member of a life-changing program - F.O.T.A.C.

Sincerely,

Brian Kavanaugh

I have seen firsthand the impact Family Of The Accused/Convicted has made upon many lives inside the prison. Many men who have not had the chance to help their children or see their loved ones have renewed hope knowing F.O.T.A.C. is now available to meet a need that had been long forgotten. The vision of this organization is desperately needed so the youth of today will be empowered with the necessary tools that will keep them from experiencing life in prison. Thanks F.O.T.A.C for making a difference in my life and the lives of my family and friends.

Sincerely,

As a first-time offender and someone who was not from Kentucky, coming to prison was like entering a foreign land with little knowledge of the culture or language.  I was lost, ashamed, and seemingly alone miles away from my kids, my family, and my friends.  But I was blessed and fortunate to meet and be welcomed by Ms. Moore and countless other members and benefactors of Family Of The Accused/Convicted. Ms. Moore and F.O.T.A.C. has become a surrogate mother, minister, guide, and family and community of friends for me.  They have helped me begin rebuilding my relationship with my daughters, overcome the guilt and shame of my past choices that landed me here, develop a deeper understanding and relationship with Christ my Lord and God the Father, realize new possibilities, and strive for new heights in my life each and every day.   Not only have they helped me to belong, but they have also helped me to believe.

Thank you Ms. Moore and F.O.T.A.C

I would like to thank Family of the Accused/Convicted, Inc. for making it possible for my family members to be provided with transportation to visit with me. These services allow me to maintain and strengthen family ties. In short, F.O.T.A.C. is a blessing, readily made available to inmates’ family members, and is a rehabilitational experience, and tool, that brings family members and the accused back together.

Over the past year I became acquainted with F.O.T.A.C. through Ms. Arnetta Moore’s son who happens to be my mentor. Through those close to Ms. Moore’s vision for impacting lives of those less fortunate in hopes of empowering them with tools that keep them out of prison has motivated me to rise up and get involved. F.O.T.A.C. has blessed me in so many ways and the one that sticks out the most is: I had not talked to my sister in six years and it was only by F.O.T.A.C.’s help that something that was hard to accomplish was made possible. Thank you F.O.T.A.C.

Sincerely,

Anthony
